Recruitment privacy notice
This notice explains how ACREST handles the personal information you give us when you apply for a position through this website.
What we collect
When you apply for a position we collect the information you enter on the application form: your name, email address, phone number, current city, professional history, your answers to any role-specific questions and the documents you upload.
We do not ask for identity documents, date of birth, marital status or other demographic information at application stage.
How we use it
Your application is sent directly to our recruitment inbox and is used solely to assess your suitability for the position you applied for, and to contact you about it.
We do not sell your information, and we do not share it outside the recruitment team without your consent.
What this website stores
This website stores the details of your application — including the documents you upload — in a private candidate record used by our recruitment team to review your application. That record is never publicly accessible.
Only the recruitment team, working through an authenticated admin area, can view it.
If you arrived here through a link from a job advert, a social media post or a poster QR code, we also record which campaign the link belonged to (for example the platform and the campaign name) and the page you first landed on. This is used only to understand which channels reach candidates, it is not used for advertising, and it is never combined with any other information about you.
How long we keep it
Applications are retained for twelve months from the date of submission so that we can consider you for similar roles, after which they are deleted unless you have joined the organisation.
Your rights
You can ask us for a copy of the information we hold about you, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it at any time.
